Scrum

Scrum is an Agile framework for managing complex projects, particularly software development, that emphasizes iterative progress, collaboration, and flexibility. In Scrum, work is divided into small, manageable units called "sprints," typically lasting two to four weeks. Each sprint begins with a planning meeting where the team selects a set of tasks from the product backlog (a prioritized list of features and improvements) to complete by the end of the sprint. Throughout the sprint, daily stand-up meetings are held to review progress, identify obstacles, and adjust plans as needed.

Scrum involves several key roles, including the Product Owner, who defines the product vision and prioritizes the backlog; the Scrum Master, who facilitates the Scrum process and removes impediments; and the Development Team, which is responsible for delivering the product increment. At the end of each sprint, a review and retrospective are conducted to assess the work completed and identify areas for improvement. Scrum's focus on iterative development, customer feedback, and continuous improvement makes it a popular choice for teams seeking to deliver high-quality software in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
